Deep Learning for Clinical Image Interpretation

Author(s): Dr. Gouri Shukla and Dr. S. K. Trivedi

Abstract:

Deep learning, a subset of artificial intelligence, has made significant strides in the field of medical image analysis. This paper explores the applications, advantages, and challenges of deep learning in medical imaging. Through various case studies and examples, it demonstrates how deep learning algorithms enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows, and contribute to personalized medicine. A particular focus is on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and their role in interpreting complex medical images. The paper concludes by addressing the ethical and regulatory considerations necessary for integrating deep learning into clinical practice.
